The name of this cuvée refers to a local legend but the "tears" (les larmes) also evoke what is called the crying of the vine: in spring, when the sap rises in the vines, it drips for a few days at the end of the arches. Think Alsatian wines for your appetizers: the cuvée "Les Larmes du Dragon" with its lively attack and a beautiful complexity in mouth allows to start your meals in an ideal way.
It is not always easy to advance the pruning work outside with 35 cm of snow in mid-January and then -10°C in February: we are therefore taking advantage of this time to fine-tune the vinification of our 2020 vintage, which keeps its promises with wines of great finesse.
We wish you a happy new year 2021!
The 2020 harvest, which began on August 26th, finished for our wine estate on October 10th under magnificent sunshine. Beautiful grapes for beautiful wines in perspective!
